WANT TO BECOME A VENDOR?

Vendors are the heart and soul of the market. The Market is accepting new vendors. Read below for additional information and forms for potential vendors.

Please mail completed ABQ Uptown Market Application form along with a check or money order made payable to "ABQ Uptown Growers' Market" for $120.00 to reserve a single space for the season. For multiple space reservations just multiply $120.00 by the number of spaces you want: $240.00 for two, $360.00 for three.

If you wish to pay by the day, or come occasionally, the fee is $13.00 per day.

All craft vendors and processed food vendors need prior approval before coming to the market. Approval and permitting can take time, so please plan accordingly.

Our arts and crafts section is flling fast. Seasonal spaces are no longer available, but daily vendors are still welcome to apply.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are welcome without prior approval, but must be grown or harvested by the vendor. A call or e-mail is appreciated but is not required for fresh fruit and/or vegetables. This is to encourage backyard growers to bring their excess to the market to add diversity to the products available and streamline the process. Backyard growers only coming once or twice to the market may qualify for guest permitting.

Include the completed appropriate City of Albuquerque Permit Application along with the required fee in the form of a check or money order made payable to "The City of Albuquerque". For processed food include a copy of your "Processor Permit". For existing businesses please include a copy of your business license.

Mail all of the above and please check postage as it will probably require more than one stamp to:

Nancy Erickson, Manager
ABQ Uptown Growers' Market
P.O. Box 1019
Peralta, NM 87042

If you need help, I am usually available 7 days a week from 7am until about 4 pm. Call me at 505-865-3533 or send me an e-mail.

Returning Vendors please indicate if you wish to keep your same space.

Vendor spaces are approximately 9.5 feet wide by 20 feet deep. New for 2011! The City Fire Marshall's Office has decided to allow vehicles and trailers in the market during business hours! Please keep this in mind when you are deciding how much space you will need.

Thank You for your interest in ABQ Uptown Growers' Market and Best Wishes for a very productive 2011 growing season!
